Fossil Rim is one of my favorite destinations in Texas and a place I return to whenever I can. I especially enjoy sharing it with my brother, sister-in-law, and nieces when they visit from Sweden. Watching their reactions to wildlife roaming freely across the landscape always warms my heart.

The highlight of every visit? The giraffes. They never fail to make us smile.
